About Mr. Gibson

My name is Everett Gibson, and I am delighted to be your child's 8th grade science teacher this school year.

 

My wife and I have both lived and taught in Weatherford for almost four years now, having loved every minute of it. We have three amazing children, two dogs, and, needless to say, we manage to stay very busy! We moved to Weatherford in an effort to live closer to family, and we could not be more pleased with our decision to do so. Weatherford truly is a great place to raise a family!

 

Coming from a family of educators, I grew up admiring the impact that those I am close to had on their students. Although I received my Bachelor's degree in marketing and management from Texas A and M - Corpus Christi, I quickly developed the desire to enter into the world of education. Since becoming an educator I have taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade science as well as coached football, basketball, and track. I also recently earned a Master's degree in Educational Leadership. 

 

I am so excited for all that this school year has to offer, and am looking forward to having your child in my class!
