News and Announcements

WISD Schools Closed Through April 21, 2020

On Monday, March 23, 2020, Parker County Commissioners approved a 30-day declaration of local disaster in an effort to combat the spread of COVID-19 in our community. This declaration limits the size of gatherings to no more than 10 people and mandates the cancellation of all such gatherings of more than 10 people until further notice.

As a result of this declaration, Weatherford ISD has made the decision to close schools, offices, and facilities through April 21, 2020. At this time, we anticipate reopening schools on Wednesday, April 22, 2020.
