Michael Ash
Welcome back to a new and exciting school year! My name is Michael Ash, and I am thrilled to be your child’s Special Education Teacher in the STaCI Classroom here at Joe M. Tison Middle School. As I embark on my 15th year in education and my third year at this wonderful school. I along with my faithful and supportive paraprofessionals Hannah Nuncio, and Leta Ratcliff are eager to continue supporting and guiding our students as they reach their fullest potential.
In the STaCI Classroom, we focus on providing structured teaching and communication interventions to support each student’s unique learning needs. Our goal is to create a nurturing and engaging environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
To ensure a smooth start to the year, please find below a list of supplies your child will need for the classroom. Having these supplies on hand will greatly assist in their daily activities and contribute to a successful school year.
Supplies Needed:
- Pencils (No. 2, a few dozen)
- Folders (with pockets, 5, for organizing assignments)
- Dry Erase Markers (variety of colors)
- Colored Pencils
- Glue Sticks
- Personal Headphones (for computer use)
Other contributions that would be appreciated are: disinfecting wipes, fidgets, snacks – (goldfish, pretzels, fruit snacks, etc.) snack bags, copy paper
Additionally, if there are any specific items or resources that you believe would benefit your child’s learning experience, please feel free to share them with me.
