Shannon Swayne - Assistant Principal

Introduction:

Shannon Swayne’s experience in education includes teaching middle and high school English and serving as department chair, freshman and sophomore team leader, and assistant principal.  She has also coached JV girls basketball, cheerleading, and drill team. In 2019, Ms. Swayne came to Tison Middle School to teach 8^th grade English. While at Tison, Ms. Swayne has been coordinator for the Girls of Greatness program and awarded the Weatherford ISD Secondary Teacher of the Year for 2021.  She is thrilled to join the administrative team as an assistant principal for the 2021-2022 school year.  Ms. Swayne is also a proud veteran of the United States Navy, mother of two amazing boys, and a grandmother.
