Welcome to the "Counseling Corner" where my goal is helping your child to create success
in life through education. My background includes having a Master's of Science in Educational Counseling with an emphasis in crisis counseling and intervention, and numerous years as a school counselor here and in Oklahoma. High school for me was in Phoenix, Arizona, then graduation from Mary Hardin-Baylor University and Southwestern Oklahoma State. Passions are what determine our lives, and my passion is students and their welfare. I count myself the"luckiest woman alive" since Weatherford is a premier district in creating nurturing environments and learning opportunities for students. This year we are "Focusing on What's Next" to investigate healthy lifestyle choices, develop strength of character, and explore interests and careers to shape meaningful goals for success. One of our chief venues is service learning as you see from our Clubs, Health, Counseling, N.J.H.S., and Student projects.
This month we'll examine what we can do next to celebrate our diversity by using that as a tool to make the next step to change our world. Give a student a hand by celebrating the differences that work together to make our community strong.
Please don't hesitate to call if I can be of assistance. I'd be delighted to help.
