Mr. Szymanowski (Science 6)
My Name is Dale Szymanowski and am looking forward to a second year here at Tison Middle School teaching 6th Grade Science. I came to Weatherford with over 19 years of teaching from Arlington ISD. My experiences have been very positive in helping 7th and 8th graders learn math and science as well as developing their social and emotional awareness within a Disciplinary Alternative Education Program (DAEP).
Before teaching, I pursued a chemical production career. This involved the manufacture and analytically testing of Reagent Grade chemicals for a small but well known company out of Arlington, Texas for nearly 11 years.
Upon graduation, I have also held several positions within the petroleum industry pertaining to data reporting on physical characteristics of refinery sludge as well as research on chemical and Bio-remediation formulas.
Education:
Bachelors of Arts: General Studies - University of Texas Arlington (UTA) with disciplines in Microbiology, Chemistry and Business.
Associates in Chemical Technology - University of Toledo, Ohio.
